Our V-day Celebrations

Ok, so we are both pretty mellow for v-day, but don't get the wrong idea that a mellow v-day means we don't love each other as much. I started my day by finding a cute note from Chris telling me he had made my lunch to take to school for that day, which I might add included a HEART SHAPED PBandJ! How cute right?!? So then I proceded to surprise Chris with breakfast in bed (a tradition, all two years...haha). Ok so I attempted pink pancakes and even tried to dye the scrambled eggs red (in the glass cup), which turned out more of a red-brown...haha! (See the picture below)

Then I came home and Chris's present was waiting on the computer. I found he had purchases a whole bunch of songs from iTunes for me. All the songs were mainly my "happy songs" (see past posts) and also other artists that were similar to my favs! He found some great new ones for me! It was such a sweet thoughtful gift that will last forever and will make me happy each time I hear them. I purchased a hat for Chris that he wanted (which now that I think about it I got him a hat last year).

We then drove to Sandy to go to one of our favorite "psuedo" resteraunts, Pei Wei (which is a faster version of P.F. Changs). Then we went to paradise bakery across the street, which let me tell you is heaven in COOKIE form!!!

We finished the night relaxing and watching a movie that we have meant to watch for awhile... its a documentary about the Donkey Kong World Champion called the "King of Kong; a fistful of quarters". Ok yes I know this is no way in shape or form romantic or valentine-y but it was a pretty darn funny movie. I recommend it if you want a good, interesting laugh and a way to make you feel better about yourself and your life choices.

It was a nice relaxing say which is what I needed after a crazy week at school, where I have been teaching all alone all day for the past week which is taxing.

But we hope all of you had a wonderful v-day too!!!!
