why our lives have been "hectic" lately....

Ok so I will try and not be to lengthy (although it runs in the family) but A LOT has happened in the last week or so. Hopefully this will be worth reading for the climatic ending.

So life without jobs is fun for well... about a month TOPS! So being unemployed for like almost 3 was killer, especially for my hard-working husband. Lets just say we spent a lot of time in two places:

  1. the computer (with things such as fixing resumes, filling applications, searching craigslist, and blogging to entertain myself)
  2. on our knees... with lots and lots of prayers
So back in July a principal from a district up in Washington contacted me to see if I was interested in a teaching job. It was totally out of the blue... so I started to pursue that possibility some. So in a progression of events... I set up two interview in Seattle and flew up from Cali for a week for them. They both went really well and I just had to wait to hear back. In the meantime I flew back to Cali for a Jones Family Reunion (another post coming later).

Well jump to Tuesday this week. I was officially hired by Lake Washington School District for 4th grade. So I had to fly up that night to be in town for the huge New Teacher Training. This whole time Chris is still in Cali finishing up the family reunion and then will pack up our stuff and move it out here (all by his lonesome...poor guy). So yes we are moving once again and hopefully not for some time... Moving is no FUN!!! I am super sad to leave Cali and Chris's family but we are joining my family up here in Washington.

If this post makes no sense... I am sorry. My brain is completely fried from all the hours of training I have been enduring, along with the mounting stress of trying to get together my classroom. I am seriously behind compared to all the other teacher who were hired months ago...
WISH US LUCK.. we will need it!
