Introducing Mr. and Mrs. Brandon Bussey!
I am so glad we got to fly back to Seattle to attend the wedding. It was great to be home and with family, even if just for a few days!
So the wedding turned out great...however we were all at a high stress level leading up to the event. Why?... because, of course, the RAIN!
The day before and all the morning of the wedding day it was raining, or wait let me take that back... POURING! We tried to make all the proper adjustments since the reception was being help in my parents BACK YARD. So we got extra umbrellas, rain mats for the floor, and even a Camo tarp hidden in the tree to protect where the Bride and Groom would be standing. And of course worry-wort Cathy (my mom) was just saying things like "BUMMER" and "they say it might even snow".
However we said a family prayer for the day to be the best it could be and to hold off the rain. As I headed down to get some last minute wedding things, the SUN was peaking out quite a bit. Well it just got better from there! The rain stopped for the rest of the afternoon and dry out most of the soggy-ness of the yard and so forth. It turned out to be a GREAT day!
We are so Happy Heidi is part of the Family now and that she is there to keep my brother in line! Congrats and a happy marriage to them!!!!

How fun! I'm so glad the weather cleared up for the reception. The food looks beautiful as does your parents yard! I love the colors and your dress is so cute! Thanks for sharing, I love weddings!
Beautiful wedding. My wedding day was the same thing. Rain predictions, even raining when we went into the temple... when we came out it was sunny, thank goodness! the food looks yum!
Tell me what you think!
