All for One.. One for all...Clothing Style

The one, and the only, magazine subscription I have is to Lucky magazine, which is the BEST!
I love my fashion magazines, but who wants to see all the barely dressed models for all the high fashion ads, especially when you know you can't even afford the knock off. Also, there is always all the other fluff. Well Lucky's slogan is "the magazine about shopping and style"... thus no fluff and all the good stuff!

Anyways, one of my favorite spreads in the mag each issue is where they take one item of clothing and show how it can be worn 4 different ways. And since I spend so much time looking at clothes online I was inspired to try it out myself. Also, if I am going to by a pricier item, I want it to be versatile, so I can get my moneys worth.

THE item:

*click the picture for the link. Also the yellow ribbon is not included with the dress and thus not included in MY outfits either.

The Styles:

Jacket-$13.50, Bangles-$3.50, Shoes-$18.99, Earrings-$3.80
(this whole outfit under $40.00)

Sandals-$7.50, Bag-$14.80, Shades-$5.80, Headband-$3.80

(this whole outfit under $32.00)

Vest-$19.90, Coin Purse-$8.90, Shoes-$22.99

(this whole outfit under $52.00)

If you total ALL the items, with the dress, you can get it all for $245.00! Now for 17 items making up 4 different outfits, I say that is pretty good!

GREAT FIND!!!

thanks to the great "your heart out" I found a link to another AMAZING site with such a great concept. Its the blog "frugal fashionista", I mean the name itself has got me hook, especially becuase the phrase married college student usually is synonomous with being "poor", hahah!
They get new post up almost every day. Anyways this is what one of thier post looks like:
Its a small picture, so go to the site to get a better look. But the basic concept is they take a famous ladies look and then finds cheap alternatives and the links to get them! they find some really good deals. I really want this purse that they listed:
