yes.... I Survived!
The parent-teacher conferences went well... no tears and no yelling. Its nice to have it over and done with. Man, it takes a long time to get through the whole class when you have 30 kiddos!
No we are off tomorrow afternoon to a cabin in the mountains with my mom's family. I am so excited to O.D. on tryptophen from all the turkey I am going to eat. I have decided TURKEY is my favorite!
I am going to try really hard to not do TOO much school work over the break and also get some good READING in.

The "zoo"
Ok after some requests here are some pictures of my classroom.
I personally feel it is a bit hard to fully portray in the pictures. Also, I was a bit reluctant to share them because the school is SUPER old (older than me) and it is still a work in progress... but to appease the masses who have sent requests... here you go.

Graduation/Update
I don't have any pictures yet because my parents took all the pictures, so as soon as they send them to me I will post them.
...So many of you might be thinking "so what is Chris and Amanda's next step in life?" Well let me tell you.
Back in about February Chris realized that his path to being a podiatrist wasn't for him. It no longer seemed like the right fit for him, or really for our family. All I know is that I am SOOO thankful that he figured it out before we moved far, far away and spend tons of money! So poor Chris was back to square one. He didn't have a clue what he wanted to be when he grew up! One thing he knew is that he wanted to get more education. Finally after much thought, he study and consideration Chris realized that an MPA (Master of Public Administration) would be a GREAT fit for him. Now you may be asking the same question that I had when he made this decision..."what can you do with a MPA?". Well it really gears you to either work in a city management/ government position or work for such things as non-profit organizations. Chris' ultimate goal would be to work in a management position at a non-profit.

We hope that we will find out by the end of May which direction we are headed. Then both our dear parents have offered to let us shack up with them through the summer til we can get our feet on the ground. This is such an exciting (but stressful) time of life!
