I {heart} NYC - Day 3

*** Chris informed me last night that he was sick of our blog background... I think it was too girly for him, so hopefully this new one will suffice.

{Tuesday}
Here is Chris in front of the Manhattan Temple. We peaked our heads inside, it was BEAUTIFUL. We wanted to go back and do a session but we ran out of time. It is so different, but cool to see a temple right smack in the middle of a big city.

{Tuesday}
Here is the Natural History Museum, where, of course, "Night at the Museum" was filmed. We went inside to the lobby area but we didn't actually do see the whole thing. S

{Tuesday}
We went back to Central Park of course because we loved it, so here we are walking on the road through the middle of the park. We thought the tunnel was pretty cool.

{Tuesday}
Here we are on the Belevedere Castle in Central Park. It was another beautiful day... great park weather!
{Tuesday}
Here is a picture of Turtle Pond...why do you ask it is called Turtle Pond, can you see all the turtles hanging out on the rock? They were ALL over this pond.

{Tuesday}
Here I am inside of the Metropolitan Museum of Art. We didn't stay a ton of time inside, but it was so cool the parts we saw. Even if you are not that in to art, this museum is spectacular inside with many of the rooms that are works of art themselves!

{Tuesday}
We headed back into the park after the Met and they had some HUGE, beautiful tulips in a part. We rested awhile on a park bench watching the millions of children with their nannies and listening to some drum ensemble. (if you have seen Nanny Diaries, I can believe that a lot of what is documented in the movie seems true, haha)

{Tuesday}
This was a high-light of the trip. Here we are with our tickets, right before we got into the Conan O'Brien Show. We had to get up early to stand in line for stand by tickets and luckily when we came back later in the day they told us we would get in! It was a pretty fun show and was really fun to see a live taping (which is my first)and let me tell you the studio is TINY!
If you watched the show at all last week, we were in the episode with Jason Lee (from My Name is Earl) and the Conan Look-a-like.

So once again we packed a ton in to one day!

Amanda! I'm so jealous! What a fun trip! I love that you visited the parks so often. I would have to agree that although H&M has some great clothes, they are usually talked up way too much. :)
