Christmas
We spent Christmas with Chris's family.  We went and saw the lights on Thoroughbred Street like usual.  It is always fun and gets me more in the Christmas mood.  Christmas night and morning was a bit different since it was just Chris's parents and us-sans kids.  All the other siblings were with their own families.  We did however get to watch Katie's kids open their gifts- its always fun to watch kids' excitement to see what Santa brought. Then Katie made us a yummy breakfast with the traditional aebleskivers.

Chris is sweet enough to make sure my tradition of new PJ's on Christmas Eve still happens.  These are the cute ones he got me

We also decided to go up skiing with Katie, Chris and Wes.  Chris (Brother in law) was able to get lift tickets and rentals through work!  It was really fun to go skiing with Chris' family, which have never gotten to do before. The day started out BEAUTIFUL and then turn pretty cold and started to really snow.  We actually got stuck on the mountain coming home for hours in STAND STILL traffic.  It was pretty scary at times heading down steep roads with lots of new snow and no chains. But Chris (BIL) was a champ and got us home safely!  We got pretty stir crazy but it was fun and something to laugh at in the end!

Since Chris was done with his December rotation in California we drove back his car up to Washington.  It was during our anniversary so we stopped in San Luis Obsispo for the night to celebrate.  We ate at F.McLintocks.  There was SOOOO Much food and unfortunately neither of us were feeling super great and our appetites weren't too big so we didn't get to enjoy it as much as we wanted. HERE'S TO 6 GREAT YEARS OF MARRIAGE! The next day we drove the rest of they way home to Seattle.

Not much happened in January other than we got to spend Martin Luther King Day skiing with my family at Snoqualmie and it was another great day.  It's been really fun to get back into skiing and see Chris catch the ski-bug again!
